Access to Information Policy
Information is any record, regardless of its date, form or container, that is produced or obtained by the Metlaoui Municipality in the context of exercising its activities, in accordance with Law No. 22 of 2016 dated March 24, 2016.
Principle: The Municipality of Metlaoui grants all users (natural or legal persons) the personal and free right to access information.
Exception: If providing the information would harm public security, national defense, international relations, or the rights of others to protect their lives, personal data, and intellectual property.
Note: Requested documents requiring a number of fees will not be delivered unless proof of payment is provided. The applicant must be notified in advance of the requirement to pay the fee, provided that the fee does not exceed the actual expenses incurred by the Municipality of Metlaoui.
The Municipality of Metlaoui makes the information available to users in its original form, as produced or received, while ensuring that it does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. However, it does not guarantee the absence of errors, violations, or defects that may have corrupted the data or information. It also cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or harm incurred by third parties due to the reuse of the information.
The user of the information is solely responsible for its reuse, and such reuse must not cause errors to others that may be related to the content of the information, its source, or its date of publication and updating.
